About|

Outlyr-e is a distributed strategy practice that helps teams envision, build and deepen links within the arts with the very ethos that make it a vital and innovative frontier of society.

We advise and design strategies for the convening of minds, audiences and impact in the arts, tech and institutional realms. Fair outcomes, genuine dialogue and new relations are the cornerstones that form every project’s intent.

Outlyr-e was founded to create the conditions for creative thought applied to organizations. Read more about our methodology below.

Over seven years, we will take on projects and partnerships that help us reach our goal: to diversify the cultural and infrastructural pathways for art to make its impact.

Methodology|

As a distributed strategy practice, Outlyr-e unfolds through unique constellations of interdisciplinary thinkers.

Each project is helmed by a specific and varied group of minds selected within a trusted network of systems thinkers with backgrounds in the sciences, art, literature, performance, design, architecture, cybernetics, amongst other fields. ‘Interdisciplinary’ is not simply the application of the aesthetics of one field to another, but a weaving of approaches based on dialogue, lived experience, and empathy.

We believe innovation occurs in the pursuit of the anti-formulaic and the non-obvious, so we operate on a rigorous practice of research, emphasizing creativity and horizontality to then design mechanisms for cross-sectoral interventions.
